Slowly the demon passed through the trees, his pelt it's true coloring, something that was odd even for him. It had been months since he had slain another, yet though a few scabs covered areas of his shoulder points. Self inflicted, possibly it may be the only way he could live with himself, for not doing the deed that had needed to be done. He had granted mercy, and it had cost him dearly.
Halting in a patch of light, ebon irises scanned around in what may lurk in the shadows. Rearing onto his hind limbs he emitted a shattered song. If anyone calls this place home, speak now or loose your chance for I now call it home. He landed back to earth, crest moved easily allowing himself to search for any others that may challenge him.
